Pretty good reel. It comes with very light grease inside on mine which made it a little stiff, but I opened it and greased it and now it feels a bit better. Pretty good feeling drag for such a cheap reel, and a pretty sturdy frame which surprised me. I honestly preferred this reel to my more expensive ardent finesse.Michael J Iannuzzi

This is a quality made reel that is a tremendous value at this price.It is both extremely smooth , possesses a well made drag system as well as a sturdily constructed frame .It has performed as well or better than spinning reels that are twice or three times the price.Any angler considering adding a quality reel at an outstanding price should take a good luck at this one !John Jachino
