The reel is smooth and pleasure to cast. The comfort grip is the most positive feature. It provides sure grip while casting. The grip is comfortable and provides a sure hold on the rod. I have heard of rods accidentally tossed into the water. This grip and smooth operating reel would eliminate that possibility.John Bondy
