I have been using the 6’9” for drop shots, this rod has performed flawlessly. Great balance with the Bolt 2000 reel!

This Rod is for all of my Finnese technics of fishing. And it has proved it's worth. You cannot go wrong with this rod.Christopher Russell
I purchased 2 of these over the summer. I put them threw the test (me) they worked great use 1 braid with small plastics great feel throws the bait far and has nice sensitivity. The other one I use for topwater. I use mono there again it works great. the action is great, they have nice balance, light weight, and they look and feel very nice. I will but more after looking at the actions of the other rods in the series. Buy one you will be happy.

after years of only fishing with shimano products I decided to try out Ardent's. I can honestly say I was blown away with the quality of their products, they are great quality and worth every cent. I've since convinced several of my friends to make the switch and they are all just as happy!Mike Martinet
I only use spinning rods for finesse. These rods are everything as advertised. Light, sensitive and awesome balance when paired with an Ardent reel

Paired these with Apex Elite reels, these rod perform flawlessly and are the best rods I have used by far. The reels are super smooth and the rods are so sensitive. Great product.Timm Cantwell
The 7'M is an excellent spinning rod. I use it as a utility rod for Neko rig, Shakey head, Wackey rigs. Its very sensitive and light weight. I will be getting a second one very soon! Get you one you one be disappointed! #Rulethewater

I recently purchased the 6ft 9inchDawson Smith
ML extra fast and it’s incredible. I paird it with the C force for dropshotting and the tip is sensitive to feel a light bite but has enough back bone to get a good hookset. Will most definitely be adding more!
A true must have! I use the Edge spinning rods to jig up walleye all summer. 7' medium with a fast tip. Pair I'd up with one of the Ardent spinning reels for an amazing feel!

The top line guide remains unfinished and the sharp edges cut into your line while it is in a rod sock. This is not as much an issue for the spinning as the baitcasting because the hook keeper is on the front. But it still does fray line enough that I epoxied and finished the ends of all my rods to prevent it.
Reel seats and handles. The reel seat opening that receives the tabs of the reel is slightly too wide an opening meaning the reel will sometimes twist on the rod. The rubber grips will also work their way over the blue metal ends over time. I have also had several of the grips react poorly to sunscreen on my hands and distort the rubber. The split grip handle is nice, but the butt end of the rod is capped with a metal end. When casting crankbaits or spinnerbaits or any other burn and turn lure where you are grabbing the bottom of the split grip often, the metal does cause discomfort and bruising in the palm of the second hand. It would be better if the butt was capped with soft rubber.
Rod Action. I am quite pleased with the action of each of the rods. I use the 6'10 for drop shotting and find that it works well. Although this is really where the higher blank would be nice. I use the 7' medium for tubes, stick baits, small top waters and micro swim bait. For most of these setups it works great, but would be nice to have a 7'3 -5 for tubes and micro swimbaits that would allow you to get more power behind a hook set.
Overall the rods have served me well and the blanks are decently durable. I like the open hook keeper for texas rigs and plastic, but would be nice to see a different one for rods that are more geared toward trebles to hook above the reel seat. I think this would be a great rod at $100 but with the current design flaws and only an IM7 blank I struggle to recommend it to others at $150.
Great sensitivity and great strength a must have in the boat. I have just recently purchased the edge spinning rod and the Bolt 3000 reel and the quality and proformance stands out above all the other rods and reels in my box definitely well worth the purchase. Pro Staff Dallas Shannon

Great rods with excellent backbone and great tip. Durable and a joy to fish with for an extended period of time. Definitely recommend and for the price very hard to beat.Jordan
If you are looking for a rod that stands out form the crowds, then look no further. The EDGE has an insane back-bone, but yet the tip is ultra sensitive to feel those light finesse bites. The carbon fiber reel seat, and thumb placement allows you to feel every little thing. I have a few of these matched up with my Ardent C-Force, and it doe not get any better than this combination. #TeamArdent

Super sensitive and lightweight. I have my Ardent Bolts on them with Gliss line, effortless casts and hooks sets are instant. For $129.99 the Edge is a top notch rod for an excellent price!Eric Schaner
Lightweight, and super sensitive. When you have to use your hands to paddle as well as casting, you look for rods that don't just wear you out to cast, and the Edge rods do it for me. I cast effortlessly without concern of fatigue, and I'm able to feel the lightest bite. Great rods.

These Edge rods are the greatest. I keep the fish on more that other rods I have had in the past. They have great feel and sensitivity! I can feel every nibble and they tough it out while battling Lake Erie small mouth. They deliver come tournament time!Joe Minor
