Description

Gliss is a new 4th form of fishing line that is produced by a breakthrough extrusion process of high modulus polyethylene fibers. Gliss has qualities of both monofilament and braid. Gliss has zero stretch and the lowest diameter to breaking strength of any line. .010 diameter Gliss equals 4kg/8lb strength.

PRO ANGLER TESTING & COMMENTS: After a very successful intro by WFT in Europe, Gliss has been extensively tested in North America. Testing has been performed by bass elite and FLW tour anglers in addition to saltwater and freshwater professional guides.

“I caught fish with Gliss that I could not have caught with other line due to its incredible sensitivity.

Softness of Gliss produces superior castiblity resulting in increased distance I don’t get with braid

Gliss is the easiest line I’ve ever fished because it has zero line twist

When dropshotting, I can get down faster due to it’s small diameter and cuts right through the water.

Gliss is much thinner than typical braid which allows leaders to be tied with out hanging up in the micro guides of bass rods.

I’ve been a pro for 20 years and haven’t purchased 1 spool of line but I will buy Gliss and compete with it. “

I really like the 40lb Gliss. It has great strength, casts a mile, and holds up pretty well. The con's to it though are it and all the Gliss I have used frays easily and is not a long lasting line. Also, it is really hard to get a back lash picked out. And as your picking it out, it frays more. Works well on spinning gear too, but does twist pretty easily. I have had quite a few break off's, but it held up well bass fishing catching a ton of sub 40 Muskies.

The Gliss lineup has blown me away with its unique properties. I use the 40# while bottom bouncing walleye and finding the bottom has never been easier with a high visibility, floating, extremely durable line.

I have used this line that I received when ordering a reel. Since then I have ordered more. I really like the flexibility and it cast great. I actually at times forget I don't have mono or floro on my reel till I look at it. It seems very durable so far like that of a braid. Recommend it highly.

This line is really unlike anything I've ever tried before. It's super thin, smoother than floss, and has the best casting of any line I've ever tried! Plus, it is very abrasion resistant! 5 stars

Scott remember that tournament it snapped five times and you lost two great jigs so that is no longer true for heavy cover or weeds.

I have used Gliss for a while now and really like it. Had to get the right knot but as far as breakage I have had none don't know what But Gliss casts great and sure is strong I caught a carp that bottomed my scales out on 12lb.

I had alot of trouble with break-off's using Gliss with swim jigs, once cost me a first place in a tournament, so I stopped using it altogether. Decided to try it as the mainline on my drop shot rig, and have since had great results with it! I use a 7' medium baitcasting rod and a left handed C-Force reel for my drop-shotting rig, and this 40# Gliss works perfectly for this application.
